Chrysler needs to thrive outside American markets in general and in Europe in particular if its association with Fiat of Italy is to prosper, but weak markets coupled with the company's inappropriate products and poor image mean there is little chance of success here.Neil Winton: Chrysler-Fiat project better not depend on Europe
